What Neuroscience Research Offers

This 60-75” session explores some of the most recent studies targeting a better understanding of the highly functioning mind. Is there such a thing as intelligence that we accurately assess? What role does genetic play? What about environment and experience? Chemistry? Are there implications for us to consider as we delve into strategies to engage the mind? What do experts and researchers suggest? Today’s neuroscience literature is shedding some light on the matter of efficient learning, the superior spearman g, localization, recruitment of brain areas for certain functions, etc. Distinguishing  intelligence from creativity and talent is a messy task that leaves identification and program choice an inexact undertaking. Although progress has been made, much more research is needed for the understanding of many nuances the mind generates!!
